OK, so when I say “our” fave travel books, I kind of mean “my” faves, as in, Becky’s. Steve calls me Worm – I’m assuming it’s the affectionately shortened term of endearment, Book Worm, but I may be wrong.
But I do love to read. Probably on about the same level as I love chocolate. In fact, stick me on a mountain on a warm, sunny day with a great book and a bar of Galaxy chocolate (the little bit more size) or a giant bag of chocolate buttons and I might not move again. Ever. Even for the loo. Except that would be gross.
So here’s a list of MY favourite books, all centered around travel, overseas adventures and life in different cultures. Some books may fit perfectly into this category, others might be squeezed in under the guise of being set anywhere other than the UK, but all are, in my humble opinion, amazing, and deserve their moment in the spotlight.
Feel free to let me know what you think. Also, deffo drop me a quick comment or email if you have any recommendations – I’m always after new reading material!
