The air is pervaded with the scent of orange blossoms, spices, freshly baked bread and fresh mint.

Morocco is a country with a rich history. It is a monarchy, and people love their king, Mohammed VI. It was previously a French protectorate, and you will find much French influence. Once upon a time there was a huge Jewish population, and while today many have emigrated, Jews and Muslims live side by side in peace. It also has a rich Berber history.

One of the best parts about Moroccan beaches is that you can either opt for Mediterranean ones or those situated on the Atlantic. The long coastline of the country gives many options and Tamuda Bay, Al Jadida, Essaouira are some of the places with picturesque beaches.

South of the Anti-Atlas Mountains is the Sahara Desert, where you can take a tour, which is best explored via a 4×4 tour or camel ride.
