Taking a road trip from Miami to New York is probably one of the best trips anyone can make by themselves, with family, or with a group of friends. There are a number of fantastic stops along the coastal route; the beaches are wonderful and the scenery is breathtaking the whole way. You could make this trip in a matter of a week if you are on a time restraint, but, if you are not you could make this a month long experience to see all there is to see along the way. The cities on either end of the 1,200 mile journey will never disappoint and neither will the magical journey in between. This is a splendid way for tourists to take advantage and see some of the best the United States has to offer.

First Stop Orlando
One of the great things about this trip is you don’t have to wait long for your first adventure because; Orlando is just a short jolt from your starting point. Here you will be able to enjoy the famous Orlando Universal Studios and the fun times to be had at Disney Land. It is no mystery why this is one of the most visited cities in the United States so; don’t miss the opportunity.
Moving on to Jacksonville
This is one of the largest cities in the state of Florida and just a day visit will not give you the full experience, so; plan to stay for a couple days. This city gives you the opportunity to create some create memories by visiting the Jacksonville Zoo or one of the many museums. This is a stop that you don’t want to rush through so you can enjoy the real feel of the life there.
Do Not Miss the Charleston Experience
Charleston has often times been referred to the paradise of landscape artists and is a stop worth making on your road trip. If you are able to plan your trip during the time of the Charleston Performing Arts Festival you are guaranteed to have an experience that will last in your memory for a lifetime.
You Cannot Bypass the U.S. Capital
If given the opportunity everyone should take the time to see the Capital of the United States of America. There is so much to see from the Lincoln Memorial to the White House, so it might be wise to make an itinerary for this stop. Washington is famous for a lot of its food and you should make it a point to visit some of the upper scale restaurants and even take a moment to try some of the foods from the street vendors.
